Linking an HP Care Pack (including a Supportpack or CarePaq linking) will allow you to access some value-added IT resource center - maintenance/support services that you would otherwise not be able to use.

By identifying an HP Care Pack, it will be linked (permanently associated) with your user ID, so you will not have to link it again.
Your User ID can be linked to more than one HP Care Pack
Once you link a HP Care Pack, it cannot be linked by anyone else. You can share a linked HP Care Pack with another user, or reassign it to another user entirely.
If you have not registered your HP Care Pack, HP Supportpack or CarePaq, you should do so by going to the registration page.

STEP 1: To link an HP Care Pack, Supportpack or CarePaq select your Country/Region of purchase. Note: If your country/region of purchase is China or Japan, additional information is available in help.

Country/Region of Purchase:

STEP 2: Select your identifier option and enter the appropriate identifier for your HP Care Pack, SupportPack or CarePaq. If you do not know the identifier, you can use the Product Number and Product Serial Number for the Product associated with the support service.
